Cross-Selling Home Health Care Insurance
We just talked about short-term care insurance, and technically, home health care is a part of that, but it’s also a subset of short-term care.
This coverage provides in-home care for those who need it, allowing the person to remain living at their home as long as possible, regardless of age or disability, rather than seeking similar care in a facility.
Home health care can include skilled nurses and physical therapists who come to your house and give you care.
Policies can cover a wide range of needs, too. Services can be as simple as homemaking and companionship to meal preparation and medication reminders. Or, they could cover personal care services and help with the activities of daily living, like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
These policies last for a year or less, and can be paired with the Medicare coverage your client already has.
And just like our other ancillary products, we offer our agents a full spectrum of tools and support.
We’d love to take a look at your portfolio and help you get started!
